A Summer Wedding along with a Made With Love Gown

Well my lovelies, such a truly grey and miserable day it's here today.

Well my lovelies, such a truly grey and miserable day it's here today. If much like me, you'd just like a welcome fix of summer joy then you're most definitely in the right place.

This may be the wedding of interior architect Katie and commercial property developer James, who wed on 28 August 2019 with a stylish DIY sailcloth tent reception afterward, near Henley, Buckinghamshire. Katie was raised locally and James was residing in Henley once they first started up to now, in 2010, so they were keen to come back there for her relaxed and summery day using their nearest and dearest.

I'm so delighted to listen to that Katie found her divine, modern gown, which tries to provide all brides with fuss-free glamour for those shapes and sizes. This incredible backless, plunge-neck gown using its appliqué detail is 'Harlie', an Australian designer whose designs are modern yet timeless and fit each body to perfection.

The bridesmaids wore super-elegant, fitted mauve bridesmaid dresses, with shoes as well as their accessories. The wedding party was made to appear polished and stylish, but still natural,

James decided to stand out inside a sophisticated tux, whilst his friends were in suits and apricot ties – just lovely for that late summer day.

"We met very unromantically this year on a particular date in Reading. James proposed in March 2019 and we decided there therefore we didn't wish to wait long to get married."

"We wanted a relaxed, summery feel. We weren't opting for any style particularly, only a party inside a field with all of our mates. I did a mood board early on having a color scheme, a flowy dress, outdoor rugs, flower bouquets, a Sperry tent plus some countryside." Click

Henley Town Hall is a beautiful venue; consider the gorgeous, gorgeous blue on the walls. The styling of the room perfectly matched the couple's vibe using its simple wooden chairs and floral arrangements.

The bride traveled there in her own parents' vintage MG before walking on the aisle together with her dad as 'To Build A Home' by Cinematic Orchestra played. By how just take a look at that beautiful train as she enters the Hall.

The bridesmaids took a VW camper, and also the entire party traveled to Fawley Fields for that delightfully-styled reception locked in these wonderfully breezy sailcloth tents.

I've had the complete pleasure of sharing work with them before and I remember their fantastic eye for detail and all sorts of that natural and unexpected moments. It's so great to see their modernity and elegance in full force within this set of images, and I adore how they choose the beautiful hues from the flowers and Henley Town Hall.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"The day goes so quick, there are so many bits that you simply won't remember. Take a step back and ensure you savor it as much as you can. Don't feel bad that you simply can't speak with everyone. We had family and friends over for any BBQ the following day, that was lovely as we've got to properly talk to people, debrief, and become reminded of things we may otherwise have forgotten."
